1. What is DTF transfer printing?
Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing is a new printing technology similar to Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing. The main difference is that DTG technology is limited to printing on cotton garments. 2. What are the advantages of DTF transfer printing?
One of the features of DTF transfer printing is that no pretreatment is required; powdered glue does that for you. Soft, water-based inks can be applied to fabrics within 15 seconds of hot pressing. Thermal transfer works best on polyester and other non-cotton fabrics that are difficult to print with regular DTG printing. DTG is mainly used for cotton garments; DTF TRANSFER FILM will never replace DTG in cotton printing; but due to the low investment in the transfer of funds for mass production of the independent version, it is a good choice in the early days of the company.
