DTF powder is adhesive powder applied on a DTF(direct transfer film) design after printing. We have DTF white powder and migration black powder two types. DTF migration black powder is an adhesive powder to be applied after printing a design. It effectively strops color migration, which means that on a bold color garment, the color does not come through the white. DTF black powder will help to block and stop the color migration.
What is DTF Transfer Powder or pretreat Powder? It's a hot melt powder made of polyurethane resin and grinded into adhesive powder. It's used to cover the print before the process of pressing begins.
This powder can be cured at 150C or 300F and pressed for 10-20 seconds. Press completed transfer once again for another 10 seconds with a sheet of parchment paper on top for a better feel.
